Spain Building & Maintenance were formed in 1996 by Jason and Carol Spain in a small office in Colne, Lancashire and were incorporated at Companies House on 24th July 2002. The core business was structured around its work for insurers, Loss Adjusters and Building Repair Networks, carrying out refurbishments to properties damaged under a buildings insurance claim. Other income came in the form of public sector and social housing opportunities and some private work for homeowners. The company reputation for delivering excellent customer service in these challenging sectors grew and other opportunities were maximised with other clients. In 2015, following continued steady growth, the company moved to a new 250m2 office based in Nelson, Lancashire and now has 37 staff with 27 tradespeople working from 22 liveried vans.
